Description

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a passionate and experienced Health and Safety Senior Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will take the lead in developing, implementing, and managing health and safety policies and programs that ensure the wellbeing of employees, contractors, and visitors across all Qiddiya projects.

As the Health and Safety Senior Manager, you will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and sustainability within the organization, while also aligning with Qiddiya’s overall strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce robust health and safety strategies in line with best practices and legal requirements, tailored specifically for Qiddiya’s operational environment.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards, while managing the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Lead incident investigations, analyzing root causes to prevent recurrence and ensuring thorough reporting mechanisms are established.
  • Design and facilitate safety training programs to educate and engage staff at all levels, fostering a proactive health and safety culture.
  • Collaborate with project teams and departments to integrate health and safety practices into all operational processes and project phases.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and standards, ensuring all operations maintain proper documentation and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for health and safety inquiries, providing guidance and support to management and staff.
  • Stay abreast of industry standards, trends, and legislation to continuously improve health and safety practices within the organization.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in large-scale construction or project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing health and safety programs and policies.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects.
