A reputed organization in the Food Manufacturing / Bakery industry is looking for an experienced and proactive HSE Officer to join their team in KSA. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of occupational health & safety standards, compliance procedures, risk assessment, and workplace safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) policies and programs
- Advise and guide employees on workplace safety practices
- Conduct safety training sessions, seminars, and awareness programs
- Review and improve existing health & safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures
- Identify workplace hazards and process bottlenecks with timely solutions
- Monitor employee adherence to safety standards and regulations
- Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and violations with root cause analysis
- Coordinate workplace repairs, installations, and activities impacting employee safety
- Support HR in implementing employee safety onboarding processes
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE / Safety Officer role
- Strong knowledge of safety legislation, procedures, and hazardous practices
- Experience in preparing safety reports and documentation
- Experience in drafting health & safety policies and SOPs
- Familiarity with safety management systems and reporting tools
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field preferred
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety required
Additional Preferences
- Prior experience in KSA/Gulf region is preferred
- Candidates without KSA experience but with strong industry exposure may also be considered
- Relevant industry experience can be considered even if educational qualifications are not fully aligned
