DescriptionJob Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections; maintain proper documentation and report findings to the HSE Section Head.
- Support in implementing and maintaining occupational health & safety and environmental certifications.
- Ensure proper selection and compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform daily site inspections for internal maintenance and contractor projects to ensure HSE compliance.
- Provide on-site health and safety support to field teams and supervisors during all phases of production operations.
- Develop, update, and maintain hazard identification and risk assessments for new and existing activities.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations, ensuring identification and implementation of preventive actions.
- Coordinate with the NLI department regarding required HSE training sessions.
- Monitor the execution of the Toolbox Talk Plan by HSE Officers.
- Coordinate with security on visitor entry/exit procedures and overall site access control.
- Propose HSE improvements and recommend actions for continuous development.
- Collect HSE performance data, prepare trend analysis reports, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety policies, programs, and procedures.
- Follow up on the management and documentation of industrial waste manifests with waste service providers.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar HSE role with a proven track record.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations, safety & security procedures, CPR, and firefighting protocols.
- Certified in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, OSHA).
- Certified in First Aid.
- Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and HSE management systems.
- ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 training preferred.
