We are looking for an experienced HSE Engineer to join a leading Civil Construction project in Abu Dhabi.

Job Description:-

HSE Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance for civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building construction, villa projects, and high-rise developments, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures across project sites.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and company HSE standards.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training programs for employees and subcontractors.
  • Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safe work practices.
  • Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, audits, and statutory documentation.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including drills and response planning.
  • Work closely with project management and site teams to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Support internal and external HSE audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in Civil Construction, including building, villa, and high-rise projects.
  • Valid NEBOSH and IOSH certifications (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessment, incident investigation, and HSE management systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working on UAE construction projects is preferred.
