Description
  • Conducts periodical safety rounds around the entire area of the company premises to ensure a safe atmosphere and condition.
  • Ensures plant & warehouse Safety and hygienic conditions are maintained and reports any deviation.
  • Ensures plant-related employees are wearing appropriate overalls/clothing and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Checks the Safe operation and condition of machinery across the production area.
  • Ensures perfect condition of fire-fighting equipment through periodical maintenance and refilling of equipment as applicable
  • Maintains necessary documents for recording the daily, weekly, and monthly HSE inspection activities.
  • Monitors the hot works & ensures they are carried out with due permission and safe conditions across the plant (carried out by
    maintenance/contractor/third party, etc).
  • Coordinates with Security guards in line with visitors’ movements, keeping track of entry and exit to company premises, etc.
  • When required, conduct Safety & first-aid on-the-job training for new recruits
  • Participates in evacuation drills
  • Ensures a clear way to reach the fire extinguisher and hose cabinets across the company
  • Takes fire preventive measures on a need basis, especially during the summertime
  • Monitors the condition of drainages/canals and ensures them against infestation through pest control spray activities in coordination with department heads
  • Monitors the cycle chart of the facility rooftop, walls, light shadows, and electrical panels, ensures the availability, and maintains first-aid equipment accessories.
  • Assists executive staff, senior administrators, principals, and supervisors, and the HSE team leader in emergencies.
  • Conducts operational risk assessments on site and designs risk mitigation measures.
  • Generates and maintains all the required reports related to the HSE management system, including corrective action and preventive measures.
  • Provides HSE improvement proposals stating: the nonconformance, proposed corrective action, required resources for
    corrective action, and plan of implementation.
