Description- Responsible for implementation safety management systems at Project Sites.
- Regular site visits and ensuring health and safety of all employees
- Responsible to ensure elimination of occupational hazards
- Reporting to Project Manager and HSE Manager
- Responsible for compliance with government regulations and legislations (Eg: RTA, DEWA etc.)
- Responsible for imparting safety training programs
- Inspecting the site on daily basis and identification of hazards and ensuring the compliance
- Distribution and issue of personal protective equipment.
- Hazard identification & communication.
- Preparation of Risk Assessment in consultation with Project Manager, Engineer and Worker Representatives.
- Implementing “COSHH” (control of substances hazardous to health) assessments.
- Implementing safe system of works & permit system.
- Inspecting all tools/equipment and maintaining records.
- Inspecting & maintaining checklist of all Fire fighting equipment’
- Accident/ incident and near miss investigations and reporting.
- Liaising with the Authorities / Client / main contractor for all Safety related tasks.
- Initiating disciplinary action notice against the violators including sub-contractors.
- Emergency preparedness and escalations.
- Taking corrective action on NCRs.
