Eram Talent is searching for a qualified HSE Officer - MARAFIQ Approved to join our dynamic team. The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in line with MARAFIQ regulations, thereby promoting a culture of safety and sustainability within our operations.

This role involves implementing effective HSE management systems and fostering a proactive safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage HSE policies and procedures in accordance with MARAFIQ requirements and best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and propose corrective actions.
  • Oversee HSE training and awareness initiatives to ensure all personnel are adequately trained on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of HSE activities, incidents, and compliance audits.
  • Collaborate with project teams and management to promote adherence to HSE standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the formulation of emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the HSE department and enhance overall safety performance.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's / Associate degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles, with a focus on MARAFIQ compliance.
  • A Valid MARAFIQ Approval.
  • A Valid Ajeer & GOSI.
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Certification in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver HSE training programs successfully.
  • Experience in incident investigation and response management.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of emergency preparedness and response techniques is an asset.
