Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and implement Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and subcontractors to enhance workplace safety awareness.
  • Monitor and enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing reports and recommending preventive actions.
  • Oversee emergency preparedness and response plans, conducting regular drills and training exercises.
  • Ensure all HSE documentation, including permits, safety reports, and compliance records, are maintained and updated.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
  • Stay updated on local and international HSE regulations (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001) and ensure company compliance.
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in HSE supervision, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is mandatory.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations, risk management, and workplace safety best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills to enforce safety policies.
  • Ability to conduct training sessions and safety awareness programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle workplace hazards.
  • Proficiency in HSE management systems, audits, and incident reporting.
  • Effective communication and report-writing skills for documentation and compliance tracking.
