HSSS Supervisor 2-Safety

To perform reviews and evaluations of work environments in order to promote safe conditions and compliance with company, and local standards.

1. Monitor terminal safety rules and precaution on yard.
2. Inspecting safe container stacking and follow up with operation to resolve any violation after reporting to Sr. HSS Supervisor.
3. Reporting near miss cases and following up with corrective actions.
4. Responding to incidents/accidents and take direct action by coordinating with other departments to keep a safe area.
5. Inspecting safety signboards and directions in the terminal and report abnormalities.
6. Conducting toolbox meeting to other departments as needed regarding safety awareness and violations.
7. Supervising high risk stripping & stuffing handing cargos.
8. Conducting safety inspection and do safety checklist for subjected activity in the terminal.
9. Check the availability of first aid kit in the designated locations and request for new materials for any shortage.
10. Assisting chemical and admin executives in safety related manners.

1. 1 to 2 years' experience in the same role.
2. Safety Courses / Diploma in Safety from a recognized institute.
3. Good written and verbal communication skills (Arabic / English).
4. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
5. Observation skills (attention to detail).
6. Safety Course Certificates such as OSHA or NEBOSH.
