About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for Hygiene Executive for Health & Safety Department to join Jumeirah Group. 

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of hygiene and food safety policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards across all hotel departments.

  • Conduct regular hygiene inspections and audits in kitchens, restaurants, stores, and back-of-house areas.

  • Implement, monitor, and maintain HACCP systems and critical control points.

  • Provide guidance and coaching to colleagues on hygiene practices, food handling, and personal hygiene.

  • Investigate hygiene-related incidents, non-conformities, and guest complaints, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate hygiene records, audit reports, and documentation in line with legal and brand.

 

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • In-depth understanding of HACCP principles and food safety legislation.
  • Experience in preparing hygiene reports, audits, and corrective action plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
