WSP is looking for a Manager – Risk Management Advisory.



Responsibilities
  • Drive a proactive, best-in-class Risk Management culture and performance by developing strategies to address key risks, ensure regulatory and customer compliance, and enhance personal safety, driving, and environmental performance.
  • Lead and oversee the development, review, implementation, and overall governance of the Risk Management System, including policies, procedures, training, audits, and reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with the Client and Senior Leadership team to drive the implementation of industry-leading Risk Management tools, programs and initiatives, and establish action plans to achieve objectives and targets.
  • Oversee the operations on the project and identify opportunities to improve.
  • Engage with our Clients, Contractors and Stakeholders to ensure our projects are delivered using best global practices.
  • Promote a positive and best in class health, safety and wellbeing culture
  • Responsible for managing and improving the Risk Management Systems in accordance with ISO 45001 and 14001 to maintain our accreditation and ensure compliance with all global and regional legislative requirements.
  • Develop and deliver risk management strategies for the project, including a clear focus on the aims and objectives of our clients.
  • Project Manager for projects within your discipline nationally. This includes selecting a suitably qualified team for the project, supporting with proposal development and issue and also project direction throughout the lifecycle of the project including monthly financial reviews with the Project Director. 
  • Commercial – Tracking and reviewing the commercial performance for your discipline to ensure that KPI’s are met.
  • People Management – You will have line management responsibilities as well as mentoring and supporting team members to help progress their careers.
  • Business development – You will be responsible for supporting the other sector leads and pushing forward business development within your discipline.  Your role will include liaison with new and potential clients; both internal and external to WSP.


Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field of Risk Management.
  • A BSc / MSc or equivalent qualification.
  • Ideally, hold an IEMA, NEBOSH Environmental Diploma qualification or equivalent.
  • Ideally, hold an internal/external auditing qualification, ISO 45001, 14001, or 9001.
