The key objectives for this role are:
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, company policies, and client requirements on-site.
- Develop and implement site-specific HSE plans, procedures, and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor daily site activities to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to reinforce HSE standards and awareness among all personnel.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into all site operations.
- Promote a strong safety culture by providing training, inductions, and continuous awareness programs for site personnel.
- Ensure proper implementation of emergency response plans and readiness for any potential site emergencies.
- Track and report HSE performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices.
- Support environmental compliance by monitoring waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives on-site.
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and standards on-site in compliance with company and client requirements.
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Monitor and verify that all site activities are carried out in accordance with approved HSE plans and risk assessments.
- Organize and lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness sessions to promote a strong safety culture among site personnel.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, prepare detailed reports, and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure proper implementation of emergency response plans and readiness for any potential site emergencies.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into all site operations.
- Verify that all workers receive appropriate HSE training and site-specific inductions before commencing work.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, incidents, and HSE performance metrics for reporting and continuous improvement.

Expected:
- A bachelor’s degree in safety, health, environmental, technical, scientific, or related engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with minimum five ( 5+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum two (2) years (preferred) in GCC region Shall have experience in preparing Health, Safety, Environmental Impact (HSEIA) reports and be fully conversant in QRA development.
- PMC ADNOC experience is mandatory
