Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF), a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding LLC, is a leading provider of engineering, fabrication, and construction services for the oil & gas sector. We are seeking a proactive and safety-conscious HSE Officer to join our team and ensure that all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental standards while promoting a culture of safety across projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines on-site.

· Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

· Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with recommendations.

· Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and company HSE standards.

· Organize and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for staff and contractors.

· Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

· Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation for compliance and audits.

· Coordinate with management, project teams, and clients on HSE matters.

· Promote continuous improvement in safety culture, procedures, and practices.

· Assist in emergency response planning and implementation of preventive measures.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by the HSE Manager or Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

· Education: Diploma or Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

· Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of HSE experience in oil & gas, fabrication, or industrial projects.

· Certifications: NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certifications preferred.

· Knowledge of UAE safety regulations and international HSE standards.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective measures effectively.

· Proficient in MS Office and HSE reporting tools.

· Fluency in English (mandatory); Arabic is an advantage.
