Description

The QHSE Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems within facility management operations. The role ensures compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards while promoting a strong safety culture across all sites.



Responsibilities

Health & Safety

  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments across facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and company policies.
  • Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor permit-to-work systems and safe work procedures.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.

Quality Management

  • Support implementation and maintenance of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Monitor service quality and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections.
  • Assist in developing and improving operational procedures.

Environmental Management

  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
  • Monitor waste management, energy use, and environmental impact.
  • Promote environmental awareness programs among staff.

Training & Awareness

  • Conduct HSE inductions and regular training sessions for employees.
  • Organize toolbox talks and safety campaigns.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
  • Prepare monthly QHSE reports and performance analysis.
  • Ensure all certifications and compliance documents are up to date.

Emergency Preparedness

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
  • Conduct fire drills and evacuation exercises.
  • Coordinate with emergency services when required.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH certification (mandatory/preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QHSE within facility management or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • UAE- Driving License is a must
