Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures in accordance with international standards like ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety).
Conduct detailed Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for routine and non-routine activities.
Perform regular site walk-throughs, internal audits, and third-party inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and Permit to Work (PTW) standards.
Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and non-conformities; identify root causes and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks (TBT), and specialized training to foster a proactive safety culture.
Monitor waste management, pollution control, and carbon footprint reduction initiatives in line with ESG targets.
Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies (e.g., Dubai Municipality, OSHAD) and prepare detailed QHSE performance reports and KPIs.
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is often a mandatory minimum; IOSH Managing Safely or ISO Lead Auditor certifications are highly preferred.
