SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As Regional HSEQ Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous enhancement of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) systems across the Middle East, India, and Africa (MEIA) region. This role plays a critical part in ensuring alignment with Jotun’s HSEQ.
This position will be based in Regional office Dubai, UAE, and will report to the Regional HSEQ Manager - MEIA.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Regional HSEQ Manager in implementing the Jotun HSEQ Management System across MEIA companies, including branches and sales offices.
Ensure full compliance with Jotun Engineering Standards, NFPA codes ( National Fire Protection Association ), and local fire safety regulations across MEIA operations.
Collaborate with regional engineering and local operations teams to support regional project planning and execution.
Ensure the proactive implementation and consistent follow-up of the HSEQ Management System within the Regional Office to maintain alignment with organizational standards and compliance.
Support and monitor the implementation of MEIA sustainability initiatives in alignment with regional and corporate goals
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What We Look For
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE.
Mandatory Experience in fire protection system & NFPA standards (especially NFPA 10, 11, 13, 15, 20, 25, 30, 72, 101, 221, 2001)
Strong knowledge of HSEQ management systems, auditing processes, and sustainability practices.
Construction experience preferred.
Effective Communication, co-ordination and analytical skill.
Ready to Travel within the region when required.
