Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Safety Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to With general oversight from a safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) manager or director, assists or advises a project or program manager in ensuring that the site-specific SH&E plans, workplaces, and operational tasks being conducted conform to Parsons' risk management practices and comply with the prevailing regulatory and client SH&E requirements. Reports by dotted line to a project or program manager, and reports directly to the Parsons corporate SH&E functional group through a SH&E manager or director.

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5 years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety.
Implement corporate HSE Policy, HSE plan and HSE legislation and other requirements, monitor HSE performance, HSE targets and suggest measures for further improvement.
Make sure that client’s safety requirements are being full filled.
Liaise with safety manager and contractors for the improvement & implementation of corporate HSE management ethics.
Monitor contractors to ensure the implementation of applicable safety measures at site to full fill Legal and client requirements.
Review Site safety Plan, Emergency plan, and other safety related plans submitted by the contractor. Review Method Statement and risk analysis for all activities and monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures. Carry out HSE inspections and report to resident engineer for immediate rectification.
Review and monitor contractors monthly HSE inspections / reports.
Conducting monthly Safety meetings, setting the target to achieve the outstanding issues, prepare / submit the minutes to all concern to follow-up.
Review incident/accident investigation reports from contractors, reporting & communicating the learning points, and monitor the immediate action and follow-up actions to minimize / prevent from re-occurrence.
Excellent English / Arabic written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
Experience of working internationally (preference KSA experience).
