β Compliance & Regulations
Monitor compliance with UAE labor laws, local municipality HSE rules, and company safety procedures.
Ensure all activities are in line with ISO 45001 and other relevant safety standards.
β Site Inspection & Risk Control
Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
Implement corrective measures and stop unsafe activities if necessary.
Prepare risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and method statements.
β Training & Awareness
Deliver safety induction and toolbox talks to workers and subcontractors.
Conduct emergency response drills and fire evacuation training periodically.
β Reporting & Documentation
Maintain site safety records, including incident/accident reports, inspection checklists, and daily observations.
Submit weekly/monthly safety reports to management.
β Incident Investigation
Investigate incidents and near-misses, find root causes, and implement preventive actions.
β PPE & Safety Equipment
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain and check firefighting and first-aid equipment availability and functionality.
β Coordination
Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and external safety auditors or consultants.
Support the development and implementation of site-specific HSE plans.
Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety.
NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
Minimum 3β5 years of HSE experience in civil construction projects in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE safety laws, municipality guidelines, and labor camp standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in preparing safety reports and documentation.
Working Conditions:Based at construction sites under extreme weather conditions.
Requires flexibility in working hours including weekends, depending on site requirements.
