Permit Management: Issue Hot Work permits, ensuring that safety measures (fire extinguishers, fire watches, ventilation, etc.) are in place.
Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
Training: Conduct safety training for workers, especially for Hot Work procedures and emergency response.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, particularly regarding Hot Work.
Record Keeping: Maintain safety records and reports, including Hot Work permits and inspections.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring safe evacuation procedures and readiness for any incidents, especially during Hot Work activities.
Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
Safety certifications - Nebosh IG/Level 3 certified.
Experience in a steel plant or industrial setting, especially with Hot Work operations.

Strong communication and training abilities.
