Wood is recruiting for a HSE Engineer to join its technically challenging and interesting projects.
The Role
Wood is currently hiring a Safety Supervisor with experience in oil and gas, hydrocarbon refinery, Petrochemicals industries having engineering design project experience. Located in Dhahran & visit to Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia
ResponsibilitiesWhat we can offer

Key Responsibilities
- Relevant work experience in the oil & gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, onshore, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
- Demonstrated involvement in construction safety activities for large-scale projects.
- Experience conducting safety compliance audits in alignment with the Saudi Aramco Contractor Safety Administrative Requirements and the Construction Safety Manual, including corrective action procedures.
- Ability to ensure effective implementation of established Safety Programs.
- Thorough knowledge of international safety standards, regulations, and procedures.
- Trained and competent Internal Auditor
- RCA – Accident/incident Investigator, e.g. Helix/Taproot
- 5+ years in a technical role, or association with HSE role in another industry.
- Possession of an internationally recognized professional safety certification (e.g., CSP, CMIOSH).
- Degree in relevant technical, industry or HSEQ specific discipline
- Lead/Senior HSE advisor experience with project/contract experience in O&G or other industry
- Excellent working knowledge with relevant legislation and regulations
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Effective/competent MS Office Suite User
- High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Strong communication and networking skills

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years in a technical role, or association with HSE role in another industry.
- Possession of an internationally recognized professional safety certification (e.g., CSP, CMIOSH).
