Senior HSE Specialist

Worley is seeking a Senior HSE Specialist to support the Bisat B Expansion Project in Muscat. The role leads implementation and monitoring of the HSE Management System and supports contractor HSSE performance, compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSSE performance against project requirements and plans.
• Conduct audits, inspections, field checks and incident investigations.
• Support risk management, hazard identification, corrective and preventive actions, Permit to Work controls and emergency response planning.
• Deliver HSSE training and awareness programmes and prepare monthly reports, KPI dashboards and trend analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or an equivalent discipline.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate and NEBOSH Oil & Gas Safety Certificate.
• At least eight years of relevant HSSE experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably on construction, brownfield, greenfield or major capital projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, HAZID, HAZOP, HIRA, RCA, BBS, Permit to Work and emergency response.
