Position Overview
Ali & Sons Group is seeking a Group Internal Auditor - QHSE to strengthen our commitment to quality, health, safety, environment, and sustainability excellence across the organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring robust internal controls, compliance with international standards, and continuous improvement through value-driven, risk-based audits across our diverse business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, execute, and follow up on scheduled and ad-hoc QHSE audits.
- Develop audit scopes, identify risk areas, and assess internal controls.
- Conduct risk-based operational audits in line with applicable standards.
- Document audit findings, observations, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare audit reports and executive summaries for management review.
- Follow up with stakeholders on corrective and preventive actions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and processes.
- Support the development, review, and implementation of internal audit policies, procedures, and audit plans.
- Promote value-adding recommendations, including efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
- Assist in implementing audit tools and methodologies to enhance audit efficiency.
- Coordinate special audits, investigations, and ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Essential Certification: Certified Internal Auditor - ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001
- Preferred Certification: Certified Internal Auditor - API Spec Q1 & Q2
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated auditing experience, preferably in a multi-business or group environment.
- Strong working knowledge of QHSE standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP systems (Oracle / SAP).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Valid UAE Driver’s License.
