We’re Hiring: Group Internal Auditor - QHSE 
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
 

Position Overview

Ali & Sons Group is seeking a Group Internal Auditor - QHSE to strengthen our commitment to quality, health, safety, environment, and sustainability excellence across the organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring robust internal controls, compliance with international standards, and continuous improvement through value-driven, risk-based audits across our diverse business operations.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, execute, and follow up on scheduled and ad-hoc QHSE audits.
  • Develop audit scopes, identify risk areas, and assess internal controls.
  • Conduct risk-based operational audits in line with applicable standards.
  • Document audit findings, observations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare audit reports and executive summaries for management review.
  • Follow up with stakeholders on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and processes.
  • Support the development, review, and implementation of internal audit policies, procedures, and audit plans.
  • Promote value-adding recommendations, including efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assist in implementing audit tools and methodologies to enhance audit efficiency.
  • Coordinate special audits, investigations, and ad-hoc projects as required.
     

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Essential Certification: Certified Internal Auditor - ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001
  • Preferred Certification: Certified Internal Auditor - API Spec Q1 & Q2
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated auditing experience, preferably in a multi-business or group environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of QHSE standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP systems (Oracle / SAP).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Valid UAE Driver’s License.
