Known for their commitment to excellence, service quality, and guest safety, they are seeking a qualified HSE Coordinator to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across their Dubai operations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety training for employees and contractors to promote a safety-first culture.
  • Lead incident investigations and prepare reports to determine root causes and preventive measures.
  • Monitor workplace conditions and ensure the enforcement of safety protocols.
  • Review and analyze safety performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Coordinate emergency response drills and procedures to ensure preparedness.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
  • Maintain records of training, incidents, and inspections in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Promote environmentally sustainable practices within the organization.
  • Advise management on safety improvements and best practices.
  • Provide support and guidance to project teams regarding health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Assist in developing safety materials and communication strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management and should be from Hospitality background
  • Knowledge of relevant local and international regulations and standards.
  • Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • UAE experience is must.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and safety management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Experience in training and mentoring employees.
  • Knowledge of incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and environmental responsibilities.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
