Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Engineer to join a transformative giga-project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental standards across large-scale construction and infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Health & Safety Monitoring

    • Conduct regular site inspections and walkthroughs.

    • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO, and Company safety standards.

    • Supervise the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

  • Hazard Identification & Risk Control

    • Perform risk assessments and job hazard analysis (JHA).

    • Recommend and implement preventive and control measures.

  • Training & Awareness

    • Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.

    • Develop and lead HSE training sessions for staff and subcontractors.

  • Policy & Compliance

    • Draft and implement occupational health and safety (OHS) policies.

    • Act as the company representative for all regulatory HSE matters.

  • Incident Management

    • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

    • Maintain accurate safety records and incident logs.

  • Emergency Preparedness

    • Develop and test emergency response procedures.

    • Ensure staff are trained and emergency equipment is maintained.

  • Reporting & Analytics

    • Track safety KPIs, prepare HSE reports, and maintain documentation.

    • Support audits and ensure data integrity across systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

  • NEBOSH IG1 & IG2 Certification (Required)

  • ISO 45001:2018 Certified Auditor

  • OSHA 30-hour (General Industry)

  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage

  • Minimum 5–10 years of HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects

  • Strong familiarity with Saudi regulatory requirements and ARAMCO HSE standards preferred
