Job Description: HSE Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs in the workplace
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures
  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees on safety procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety protocols and make recommendations for improvements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, or Environmental Science
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of  8years of experience,GCC experience - 4+ years in a similar HSE role
  • Experience in conducting safety inspections and audits
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing HSE programs
