Job Description: HSE Officer
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs in the workplace
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Investigate accidents and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on safety procedures
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety protocols and make recommendations for improvements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, or Environmental Science
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 8years of experience,GCC experience - 4+ years in a similar HSE role
- Experience in conducting safety inspections and audits
- Proven track record of implementing and managing HSE programs
