HSE Officer

About the role

Support safe operations across worksites, shipyards, warehouses and vessels under repair by carrying out inspections, identifying unsafe practices and helping maintain compliance with HSSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct workplace safety inspections and report unsafe practices, non-compliance and near misses.
• Maintain inspection records, permits, test records and safety databases.
• Support safety analyses, risk reviews, incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Prepare safety statistics and reports and deliver safety training and awareness activities.
• Follow company policies and HSSE procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent.
• Three to five years of relevant experience, preferably in ISO-certified organizations.
• Relevant HSSE or environmental certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of international safety standards with strong teamwork, time-management and communication skills.
