We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team.

Position: HSE Technican 

We are seeking for an experienced HSE Technican to join our team in Turaif (Saudi Arabia).

Responsibilities

Safety Management Systems

  • Support the implementation of project-specific HSE management plans, including:

    • Health and Safety Management Plan.

    • Traffic Management Plan.

    • Fatigue Management Plan.

    • Waste Management Plan.

    • Emergency Response Plan.

  • Understand and apply key HSE documentation such as:

    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    • Permit to Work Systems (Hot & Cold).

    • Safe Work Instructions (SWIs).

Risk Management

  • Participate in hazard identification, risk assessments, and control measures.

  • Promote proactive reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.

  • Support regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Training

  • Deliver and support the implementation of HSE induction and training programs for all site personnel.

  • Ensure all employees have up-to-date and complete training records.

  • Conduct toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and refresher sessions.

  • Provide specialized training related to permits to work, SOPs, SWIs, and emergency procedures.

Operational Control

  • Conduct daily site inspections and safety walks with operational teams (workshop, production, drilling/blasting, surveying, etc.).

  • Participate in pre-start meetings and coach employees on safe work practices.

  • Contribute to the review and updating of traffic management maps and site safety documentation.

  • Support equipment and machinery inspections as required.

Incident & Accident Management

  • Assist in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses.

  • Support the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Maintain accurate incident records and reporting.

Emergency Response

  • Maintain familiarity with the site’s Emergency Response Plan (ERP).

  • Support the implementation of site emergency procedures.

  • Contribute to ensuring personnel are aware of and trained in emergency protocols.

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or equivalent.

  • HSE-related certifications (e.g., Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Assessment, First Aid, Fire Safety).

  • Basic training in environmental management is an asset.

Preferred qualifications

  • NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification (.

  • Additional training or certification in emergency response, fire safety, or first aid.

  • Experience in mining, construction, or heavy earthmoving operations.

  • Knowledge of local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
