The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of QHSE within the organization, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Conduct audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, risks, and areas for improvement
Monitor and analyze QHSE performance data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
Provide training and guidance to employees on QHSE best practices and procedures
Lead incident investigations and develop action plans to prevent reoccurrence
Coordinate with external agencies and authorities on QHSE matters as needed
Keep up to date with changes in QHSE regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
Certified in QHSE management (e.g. NEBOSH, ISO 14001)
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Familiarity with UAE QHSE regulations and standards
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
