Enforce company and government safety policies, procedures, and regulations on-site.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify unsafe acts or conditions and implement corrective actions.
Monitor site activities to ensure all workers follow safety protocols, especially during glass handling, façade installation, and working at heights.
Perform risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for ongoing site operations.
Identify potential hazards and proactively develop safety mitigation plans.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness training for site workers.
Respond promptly to any incidents or accidents and carry out investigations.
Prepare accurate incident/accident reports with root cause analysis and recommended corrective measures.
Maintain safety records and documentation in accordance with legal and company requirements.
Collaborate with project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to enforce safety compliance.
Train workers on the correct use of PPE and safe working practices.
Ensure new employees undergo safety inductions and site orientation.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of safety experience in the construction or aluminium & glass industry in the UAE.
Certification in NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with scaffolding safety, working at heights, glass and aluminium handling safety, and fire prevention.
