Safety Officer

The Safety Officer will lead the creation, execution, and continuous improvement of Sraco FM Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) framework for all facility management contracts. This role ensures alignment with Saudi regulations, client requirements, and ISO 45001 standards while fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.

• Develop, update, and implement HSE policies, procedures, and the HSE management system.
• Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, and HSE audits across project sites.
• Monitor compliance with Saudi regulations, client HSE requirements, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Lead investigations of incidents and near‑misses, determine root causes, and track corrective actions.
• Plan and deliver HSE training, inductions, and awareness programs for staff and contractors.
• Review contractor and subcontractor HSE plans, method statements, and ensure alignment with company standards.
• Track HSE key performance indicators and prepare monthly reports for management and clients.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to site Safety Officers.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, drills, and response activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall safety performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification.
• 2–5 years of HSE experience, preferably in facility management, construction, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Ministry of Human Resources occupational safety regulations and Civil Defense requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 standards and client HSE specifications.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective training and awareness programs.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the capability to mentor and support site safety personnel.
