Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Safety Lead Engineer with expertise in Loss Prevention and Fire Fighting Systems, Hazardous area schedule in according to API 505, EI 15 & IEC 60079-10-1 to manage safety programs in the Middle East. The role involves designing and implementing fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, and leading risk assessments to prevent incidents in high-risk sectors such as oil & gas and petrochemicals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of fire safety and loss prevention strategies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain fire safety systems (e.g., suppression, alarms, sprinklers).
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
  • Develop and test emergency response plans and provide safety training.
  • Lead investigations into safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and local authorities to integrate safety systems into projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Fire Protection, Chemical, or related field).
  • Experience: 15-20 years in safety engineering, focusing on fire protection and loss prevention in the Middle East.

Preferred:

  • Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or other hazardous industries.
  • Knowledge of regional safety standards (Iraq, UAE, Kuwait)
