Our Client in Roodepoort is looking for a Health and Safety Officer Salary between R22 000 - R24 000 + benefits
Minimum requirements: To provide administrative and coordination support to the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) team. This role ensures smooth operation of SHE compliance processes and helps maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
Grade 12 / Matric.
SAMTRAC certification or a Diploma in Safety Management (or equivalent).
Valid driver’s licence.
Minimum 5 – 7 years’ experience in a SHEQ administrative role within mining, construction, or similar high-risk industry.
Proven Knowledge of SHEQ legislation (OHS Act, Environmental Regulations, Construction Regulations).
Strong report writing and documentation capabilities.
Knowledge of Safety File Compilation, Approval with Clients and Maintenance.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
Highly detail-oriented, organised, and proactive.
Strong time-management and stakeholder-engagement skills.
Ability to work effectively independently and in a team.
