Sr. Engineer - EHS

Lead environment, health and safety work on site-based power transmission and distribution construction projects in Oman.

Responsibilities

• Develop project EHS plans, procedures and controls; monitor compliance with Omani rules, client requirements and company standards.
• Inspect transmission line and substation work, assess risks, audit contractors and investigate incidents.
• Review permits, method statements and job safety analyses; coordinate inductions, toolbox talks and emergency drills.
• Track EHS performance and support waste management and pollution prevention.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or science; NEBOSH IGC is mandatory.
• 8–12 years of construction EHS experience, including at least five years on power transmission and distribution projects, according to the detailed description.
• Fluent English; Arabic is advantageous.
