Safety Assistant

In this interesting role you will be working in our HSSEQ Team.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Conduct routine job safety analysis, building safety check-ups and evaluations, emergency action plans, and fire prevention programs.
- Ensure the maintenance of safety guidelines, procedure and policies.
- Assist with arrangements for possession of new buildings such as facilitating fire safety, water quality risk assessment etc.
- Provide safety fire drills and practices for all company employees and follow-up collaboration for new employees.
- Continuously report safety and environmental issues to the HSSEQ Senior Supervisor.
- Assist the organization with accident controlling and prevention measures.
- Perform any other duties relevant to the role as assigned by the HSSEQ Senior Supervisor as per the business requirements.
About you:
For you to be successful you will need to have the following:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in professional safety/loss control is required.
- Good command of English & Arabic languages.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office tools.
- IOSH certification required.
- NEBOSH IGC certification preferable.
